On Leash Obedience
We want to make sure your dog can reliably perform all of our core behaviors on leash. Sit, Down, Stay,
Go Place, Loose Leash Walking (Heel), and follow leash guidance appropriately. These skills will make taking your dog out in public a breeze.
Off Leash Obedience
Off leash is a continuation of the program for those looking to take obedience to the next level. This is where we teach come when called, off leash heeling, and long-distance behaviors. These skills will be great for hiking and enjoying peace of mind outdoors.
Problem Behaviors (Aggression, Reactivity, Common Bad Behavior)
Private lessons are individually designed for each dog and owner. Whether you are struggling with puppy biting, jumping, leash pulling, or even aggression or reactivity. We will help you overcome any problem behavior.
Tricks and Games
We believe every dog should be able to do cool tricks and enjoy a wide variety of play types with owners. These tricks will be built based on you and your dog's individual personality.
Real World Practice
No training program is complete until you can perform in the real world. We will travel into a variety of difficult public dog friendly spaces around the Hickory, N.C. area. These places will be tailored to the types of places you like to go with your dog.

Our programs are designed to give you exactly what you want. If that means training for an outdoor lifestyle like hiking, biking, and being off leash then we will create a plan for you. Maybe you want your dog to be the perfect couch potato and relax and watch a movie. Whatever your goals are, our training will be designed around you and your dog.

Not everyone can meet on the same day and time each week. Our programs are designed so that you can choose any time that works for you. We also understand that life happens, vacations are needed, emergencies pop up and sometimes we need to take some time off of training. If that is the case, not a problem at all, just pick up right where you left off.

We start every course with on leash obedience. You have to master the basics before you get to the hard stuff. This on leash obedience is of course customizable depending on what you are looking for. In general, each dog will learn Sit, Down, Stay, Go Place, Loose Leash Walking, Formal Heeling, and Distraction Proofing.
Once in off leash

Once in off leash we want to teach your dog a variety of behaviors to give them the ultimate level of freedom. Not everyone has to do off leash, but it is encouraged. In this part of the course we will teach Recall, Off Leash Walking, Adventure Components, and Problem Behavior Solving.

Our lessons may start in a private setting but as you and your dog grow, we want to invite you out to our group walks. These group walks are an earned right for those who have done their homework and are ready for a high-level area. 6 months of these group walks are included in your course. We meet every other week to practice everything

Each dog that is at this group has reached a level that they are safe and ready for each and every distraction we throw their way, so you can rest assured that your dog will learn the right things.
